Detecting the Avian Flu

Wired News today has a story on detecting various flu types that is remarkably devoid of information.

With the one Google-able tidbit from the Wired story, I found this readable piece on various DNA arrays for detecting and typing infectious disease; "Using Arrays on the Offensive to Chase Contagious Diseases".
